Fyne Audio Cubitt 5 Makes Its North American Debut

Harmonia Distribution is pleased to announce the North American launch of the Fyne Audio Cubitt 5, a compact, fully active loudspeaker system designed to bring high-fidelity sound to televisions, turntables, desktop systems, and everyday music listening without the need for separate amplification.
Priced at $899, Cubitt 5 combines Fyne Audio’s 5” IsoFlare point-source driver with 240 W of DSP-controlled amplification, an active crossover, and 24-bit/96 kHz digital playback. Its high-density, internally braced cabinet and front-firing bass port allow the speaker to deliver substantial performance from an enclosure suited to bookshelves, desktops, and shared living spaces.
The IsoFlare driver places the high-frequency unit at the acoustic center of the bass/midrange driver, helping sound radiate from a single point. Fyne Audio’s FyneFlute surround is engineered to terminate unwanted energy at the edge of the driver cone, while the active crossover and dedicated class-D amplification allow the system’s electronics and drivers to be optimized together.
Cubitt 5 can serve as the center of a complete home audio system. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD and AAC provides convenient wireless playback, while HDMI ARC/eARC allows the speakers to replace a conventional soundbar for television sound. Optical digital and analog RCA inputs accommodate additional sources, and a built-in phonostage supports moving-magnet and high-output moving-coil cartridges. A subwoofer output is also provided for listeners who want greater low-frequency extension.

Designed for modern living spaces, Cubitt 5 offers the simplicity and ease of use expected from a powered wireless speaker without abandoning Fyne Audio’s high-fidelity heritage. Its compact dimensions, broad connectivity, and choice of finishes allow the system to move easily between traditional hi-fi, desktop, and television applications.
Cubitt 5 is available in five finishes: Midnight Black, Pearl Titanium, Olive Green, Pebble Grey, and Arctic White.
The Fyne Audio Cubitt 5 will make its North American public debut at Audio Advice Live, August 7–9 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
